Compatible with door thicknesses ranging from 7/8" to 1 ¼”, this pneumatic screen door closer is both easily installable and conveniently customizable to your preferences. The intuitive storm door closer bracket design and speed adjustment screw offer capabilities for adjustable, automatic door closer strength. The Standard Door Closer can either be used to replace previous standard closers on your storm door or screen door, or implemented as a new first-time installation. If it is being used as a replacement, ensure that you install it at the same location as the existing or previous unit. If it is a first-time installation, you can place the storm door closer at the top, middle, or bottom of your storm door. The added screen door chain provides added protection to your door against excessive winds, preventing it from swinging too far or too quickly.
